2016 Gaming: Top 10 games I enjoyed

Let’s take a look back at 2016 in gaming – it was quite the year! As well as the board games I’m going to be talking about, there were so many other incredible things that happened in the gaming world. For example, the world’s first virtual casino was launched – if you were ever wondering “how has gambling turned to gaming?”, then you can click to read an article about just that. Back to my games – the first list will go over the games I enjoyed most. I do not play enough games to only limit it to those released this year, so instead – I look back at the games that I had the most fun with this year, regardless of when these were released. Obviously, these are only some that I have put together, there are many out there that you can try, for instance, there are some games that are inspired by music, the most famous – Rock Band is one that many have enjoyed, but did you also know you can play music casino games and win money? Rock Star is one of these available games and you can play this slot on Vera John if this takes your fancy. Read down below for more of my chosen video games, but don’t limit yourself.

Codenames review: words, spies and infinite possibilities.

Codenames, the current #1 party game, has taken the board game world by storm. A seemingly simple word game it made a home for itself in a ton of collections and was a serious contender for many game of the year awards. What made it so special?

One game to rule them all: Lord of the Rings Living Card Game Review

It is not breezy. The lore is rich and detailed and getting to know its beauty involves lots and lots of reading and commitment. There is lots to remember and you might find yourself going back to refresh your memory to make sense of things. But if you make the effort, if you allow the fascinating, genre-defining world to engulf you – there is no two ways about it.  You will love Lord of the Rings and the above applies as much to the Living Card Game as to the books.

Work & Play – Top 10 games for workplace lunchtime gaming

At home I am an old school gamer, I still play games like Diablo 2 and take full advantage of the d2 item store so that I can play just like the old days… thank goodness they never shut the servers because I think I would be stuck! However, at work, I feel that board games are an amazing way to spend time together over an engaging activity. You get to know the people you play with, you get to use your head and most importantly – you have a good time and share some laughs. Some companies keep things digital with some minecraft hosting servers for everyone to be on during lunch, but having an offline option doesn’t hurt. Having a regular gaming gaming group at work (we play every Friday over lunch) was really good for my team at work – the connections you make over a board game easily transfer into effective collaboration on work projects. Plus, unlike most corporately mandated team building – it is actually fun and completely voluntary. This means that people who like to game in other ways can enjoy their lunch as they want. I think a few people like to spend it making investments – be it in gambling on Casinomartini.com or through other means. I’d stick to a casino for that, but hey, to each their own. In any case, this blog post lists Top 10 games to play in such a situation based on a pollgam of our gaming group – hope this will be helpful for folks out there trying to do something similar!

Significant others often become our most frequent playing partners – regardless of what the game is.
